Life at the National Museum
To commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the National Museum of Iceland, we produced a 52 min. documentary on the inner works and daily challenges faced by the staff at this largest museum in Iceland.

The core of Profilm´s work are documentaries. With an Emmy nomination for our documentary “Iceland Volcano Eruption”, we love getting deeply involved with our projects, whatever subject catches our imagination. We have been fortunate enough to work for National Geographic Channel, BBC, NBC, DR1, DR2, Discovery Channel to name a few.

Elephant Whisperer nominated for Japan
The Elephant Whisperer has been nominated for the 2013 Japan Wildlife Film Festival. The festival will be held from August 8th to 11th in Toyama at the Toyama International Conference Center. The festival has been running for over 20 years.

Elephant whisperer
Sangduen Chailert, or Lek, as she is generally known, has already rescued over 200 elephants. She has dedicated her life to saving the Asian elephant and founded a special camp, The Elephant Nature Park to protect them. We follow this winner of Time Magazine’s “Asian Hero of the Year” Award in her work.
