"Me and My Genes"
Is the name of a two part series being produced by Furnace TV for BBC4 and The Open University.
This show will ask some very interesting questions like "Is our fate determined by the particular variant of the DNA molecule we inherit or can we break free of genetic code?".
We at Profilm are proud to have assisted with the production here in Iceland, including location scouting and equipment rental.

Our very own Hinrik Olafsson produced and directed this DVD which gives a wonderful insight into the world of this unique horse breed.

Nat Geo
Our latest documentary (Iceland volcano eruption) was a great success, now Profilm is producing a new documentary for National Geographic channel. This documentary will be filmed this summer and will be ready for broadcast later this year.

Ultimate Journeys - Thailand
Profilm is working on an Ultimate Journeys´ travel programme about Thailand. Expect an ultimate experience of this amazing country, Thailand, including life in the huzzle and buzzle of the capital Bangkok, diving with sea gypsies in the Andaman Sea, the serene life of monks, beautiful temples, elephants and wonderful people. This programme will be 50 minutes long.

The Elephant Whisperer
She has dedicated her life to saving the Asian elephant and founded a special camp, The Elephant Nature Park to protect them. Sangduen Chailert or Khun Lek as she is generally known, has already rescued over 200 elephants. We follow this winner of Time Magazine´s "Asian Hero of the Year" Award in her work, trying to put right what she feels wrong. This touching 26 minutes documentary will genuinely stir up the viewers´emotions. Khun Lek has gathered a large group of supporters and volunteers in her quest for a better future for the Asian elephant. She is The elephant whisperer. The film is due to be 26 minutes long and is all shot in HD cam.

BBC - Seven Wonders of the Solar System
Profilm provided production service for the BBC twice last year for the fascinating up coming series "Seven Wonders of the Solar System" with Prof. Brian Cox due to be premier this year.
